Melodyne and softsynth muting

Hi,

I've commented on this in another thread before but I finally found some specific weirdness. See if you can reproduce this;

1. Create a new project.
2. Create an audiotrack and put any file on it that is at least a few minutes long for the purpose of this test.
3. Create a simple instrument track with Addictive Drums (though it works with split tracks too, for me).
4. Mute the Addictive Drums track.
5. Select the audio clip and hit CTRL+M to active Melodyne on it.

For me, this unmutes Addictive Drums. I've tested some and it seems that all softsynths become temporarily unmutes during the ARA transfer to Melodyne. Usually, they regain their muted state almost instantly. When I use a shorter clip (and the transfer is quicker) this does happen. On a longer file, the synth remains unmuted. In busier projects, it seems to happen with shorter clips too. If you CTRL+Z to cancel out of Melodyning the clip, the synths remain unmuted.

It's not unique to Addictive Drums, though I noticed it there first. All soft synths do it for me. I'm using Melodyne Studio 4 (latest) and Sonar Lexington because Manchester was less stable for me. But I'm pretty sure I've had it happen before Lexington, although at the time I couldn't find the cause.

Can someone with Manchester and someone with Lexington please check if this happens on their system too?

    Am I the only one experiencing this?
