Melodyne is worth the X3 upgrade for continual SONAR upgraders

I just have to say that I love this tool!!

I got the full editor upgrade which saved us SONAR upgraders a lot of other dollars by being bundled with SONAR as the light edition.

I just reworked a scratch solo lead track and had zero artifacts. I scooched blob time and was able to articulate what I wanted to hear in a lead line with what I recorded already.

I am definitely more pleased today that I upgraded to X3. I should probably turn the machine off now..  ;)

Peace,

I too am enjoying working with Melodyne. I seemed to spend ages in VVocal getting it "right", but in Melodyne it takes just a few seconds to get that out of tune note fixed. I can see why it gets such rave reviews.

While their are many features that make the upgrade to X3 worth it (imo), for those that were unfamiliar with Melodyne they got a very special introduction and for all of us I think the ARA part of the equation is quite significant also.

IMO Cakewalk ought to ditch Amber true pianos and strike up a deal to get the full version of the grand piano from addictive keys instead. Its vastly better.

I've had X3 for a while now, but today was the first time I used the ARA Melodyne feature. I already had the editor edition and it's much more efficient with ARA than the plugin. A lot better workflow and best of all: about two hours running it and no crashes!
