Melodyne not showing up as Region FX

When I highlight a clip, right click to open up a Region FX, the only option I'm given is Vocal Sync......no Melodyne.

I'm running Platinum and have installed all the updates, etc. Melodyne (Celemony) shows up in my program files. And I can insert the 32bit version as an insert effect (where I have to use the "transfer" method". But nothing in Region FX options.

Thanks for any help!

Make sure the VST3 format is installed.

Are you running 32bit Sonar or 64bit?
If the latter, the 64bit VST3 version has to be installed.

Regardless, reinstalling it has solved problems for more than one person on here. Don't forget to reset and rescan your VSTs in the Sonar preferences if it still doesn't show up after a reinstall.

    Thanks for the tips, but......

Still not showing up. I've uninstalled, then reinstalled the VST3 64bit from the Command Center. I checked my program files and it's installing to a new folder called Celemony (not in Cakewalk, but a folder all by itself in Program Files and Program Files (x86). When I open the Celemony folder, all I'm seeing is a folder called Melodyne Singletrack. Click on that folder and it shows Melodyne Singletrack.exe and the registration pdf. That's it. No dll or anything else.

When I was doing the reinstall, it just said singletrack was installed. Don't tell me I have to re-install Platinum????

I'm a musician, not a computer tech, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks guys

That all sound correct. The full path to the 64bit VST3 plug-in is "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Celemony\Melodyne\Melodyne.vst3". If the plug-in is installed, try a VST reset, the instructions are here http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/2007013315/SONAR-X3-Full-VST-Rescan-Recommended-for-Upgraders While the instructions are for X3, the process is the same for Platinum. If this fails to establish the Region FX, your best bet is contacting tech support.
