Melodyne not working on my new Sonar Professional

Hello. I tried searching for this issue but apparently I'm just doing something wrong lol. So i just got Sonar Professional (Pay as you go) and made sure the version i purchased came with Melodyne. OF course it did and i downloaded the whole package. When i try to utilize the feature....its nowhere to be found. I even tried searching thru YouTube and CakeTV to help me and I do understand that I have to click on Region effect and then the rest is history BUT.....the button is not clickable. I don't know if I have to validate Melodyne via website with serial number or something but at this point, Im at a loss. Somebody please help. Thanks

    Have you specifically installed Melodyne?

    After installing SONAR's VST scanner should automatically scan it and it will be available.

    I installed and validated my license. How can I launch Sonars VST plug in scanner

    Hi,
     
    1. To run a VST scan, select Preferences from the Edit menu, this will open the preferences window.
    2. Under the File heading, select VST Settings
    3. Click the Scan button the perform the scan

    If you have the default options for scanning set there is no further action required. Just launch SONAR and it will automatically detect the new plugins. Another reason not to mess with the default VST scan options :)
     
    You should see Melodyne listed in the region effects menu. Note that you must install the VST3 version of Melodyne for it to show up as a region effect.

    How would i get the VST 3 version on melodyne? Isn't it already baked into Sonar PRofessional? And i did download melodyne and still nothing. Also, tried to run the VST scan but nothing seems to be working. No progress bar at all. Will try to restart laptop.
