Membership "valid though 10/07/2018 ?

 
 
Roughly, Meng's answer at the time  was  "it doesn't mean anything it'll be changed/removed".
 
Well, if it doesn't mean anything how come there is still shows in the "about cakewalk" window?

    It's just a place holder.   If Meng says that it doesn't mean anything, then rest assured, it doesn't mean anything. 
     
    I wouldn't worry about it to be honest. Mine says valid until 4 Oct 2018. 
     
    As to what will happen if nothing happens before that date.  Probably nothing will happen.  The software won't blow up or make your PC catch fire or anything.  Though, I am sure we will see an update before then.

    They probably just didn't have time to remove the code for the early release.  I am sure that will be removed by the time CbB enters the public release phase.
     
    As regards CCC, I have no idea....Maybe Bandlab bought the code for that as well.    I am not particularly worried about that as Bandlab Assistant is what is used to update CbB.   I have installed CbB moving forward.  I only have Platinum installed for the plugins that did not come with CbB.  It does not take up that much room in the greater scheme of things.

    This is another good one to add to the Sticky I requested. 
     
    CCC is now Bandlabs and they will maintain the servers that authorize legacy Sonars.
