Memorial Day...in recognition...

I didn't see a thread as of yet.

Being as how I have two very good friends on The Wall of course I'm compelled to recognize and honor all those that have paid the ultimate price.

Wishing all a good day with friends and family.
Imbibe smartly and drive safe to any that are traveling.

Carry on....

    A sincere 'thank you' to all the courageous members of the armed forces, past and present, whose dedication to duty has done so much to preserve our safety and freedom.

    And especially to those who have paid the ultimate price on our behalf.

    It was not the journalist who secured the right to speak freely, but the soldier.

    It was not the college student who secured the right to demonstrate, but the soldier.

    It is not the politicians who keep us free, but the soldier.

    God bless them all.... past, present, and future... for all they have given.

    Hi,

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 62

    And this is coming from someone that came from a fascist government that used to pull guns to children's heads to shut up artists and writers from speaking about "freedom" ... and don't think that musicians were not a part of the whole thing!

    As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
