Meng- Hosts- How about a sticky with the latest FACTS
It would be nice to have a sticky with some facts about Cakewalk by Bandlab as 90% of the new threads are asking these same questions over and over. How about a facts sticky with "READ THIS FIRST FACTS about CbB" . Include stuff like The difference between Bandlab app and Cakewalk by Bandlab DAW Facts about CbB like it runs offline and is not an on line app. Where and how to download and install CbB About the addition content file and if you need it What's included and what is not included in CbB. How to disable the Assistant from auto loading. Why you need to keep Splat or older Sonars versions installed How to migrate Splat templates and Themes And facts about legacy versions of Sonar activation, the plan for the server CCC etc. EDIT APRIL 16th- This is all there is at this point and it's nexts to pointless. It's say's "Download the Bandlab assistant". No links or other info. The Bandlab assitant is hard to find if you don't know where to look. The request is outside the scope of host activities. It is a BandLab issue. Keep in mind, at this time, CbB is not a production release. I too would like to see an FAQ but doubt it would significantly cut down on repeat questions. It might shorten the replies though.

Yes and as said by pwalpwal.. and I'm sure that was what scook was implying above too. A sticky is easily pointed out. The ones that are there now are to long winded to be of any use anymore.

That FAQs not addressing what being requested here Noel. By all means add that link to the stickie. But a Stickie with FAQ covering questions that are are currently frequently asked on the forum would help.
