Message "Warning - Transients are in Progress..." when opening particular project

Seems like a bizzaro message to me but it has happened 3 times when opening a specific simple project with about 4 midi tracks and one audio track and one audio effect (Boost 11).  I get a warning message, after the open has started but before the project appears on the screen.  The warning says that transients are in progress and depending on some things the project may not sound like it should.  I click OK and the project subsequently plays fine.  Just in case I saved the project without making any changes.  Closing and reopening the project does not lead to the warning message.  Restarting X1 and opening the project does not lead to the warning.

This has happened 2 more times in the days since the first occurrence.  Each time I have saved the project again.

Anyone got a clue as to what this might be?

Curiously,
Larry

Generally this indicates one or more audio clips have AudioSnap enabled and Sonar is calculating the Transients as the project opens. If, at some point, you previously did have AudioSnap enabled but no9 longer do then it may be looking at the Transient Pool (or whatever it's called) that had existed previously and it's stuck in some weird erroneous loop of looking for transients.

AudioSnap?  Never used it, whatever it is.  Well, actually I just looked in the X1 help so now I do have a clue as what it is but I'm sure I've never knowingly used it.  The tail end of the audio track does have a short clip automation for gain but that's it.

Try pressing A to deactivate audio snap. You enabled it accidentally by pressing A on your qwerty keyboard

Sure enough the audio track had AudioSnap enabled.  I've got it off now.  We'll see what happens.
    Thanks,
    Larry
