Metallic robot noise on playback

I have a metallic noise on playback.  When recording sound is clear and crisp.  But when I play it back sounds like metallic noise.  Usually happens on Bass and guitar tracks.  Help.

    I'm afraid you are going to have to provide a lot more information before anyone can consider your issue here.
     
    What OS (Windows XP, Win 7, Win 8) 32 or 64 bit?
    What version of Sonar are you using?
    What is your audio interface?
    Microphone or are you DIing the guitars?
    What effects do you have in your sound chain?
    How are you recording these instruments?
