Metrenome Troubleshooting

I'm having a really hard time figuring out what the deal is with my metrenome on Music Creator 2. I have a creativ Sound blaster Audigy 2 zs on a hp Pavilion a600n. I just recently reformatted my computer and now after reinstalling everything the metrenome sounds like it's coming thru the internal speaker or something. I tried all the different combos of using PC speakers and Midi note but I still can't get it through my speakers or headphones. I can hear all other music fine. If any one has any idea please help. This is driving crazy.

    for MC2, you only have MIDI output for the met, I suggest turning the met off and creating a click track instead.
