Metronome Issues

Hello,

I have Sonar Home Studio 6, and I am using the Audio metronome. I set it to 195bpm, but as soon as the two count-off measures count expire and I begin recording, the metronome immediately becomes inconsistent, speeding up and slowing down. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

I should add a correction. Even if I record a metronome from an external source, the beat fluctuates noticeably. This is really weird...
