Metronome Issues

I'm new to Sonar LE, which came with my Allen & Heath ZED-16 Mixer, and I'm in the process of learning this software even though I've used other DAW software packages before. The problem which has stopped me in my track is that the metronome keeps recording when I record audio in other tracks. I've tried recording a click track with the metronome but it still gets coupled in my subsequent track recordings. What I would like to know is how to configure the metronome to record a click track without this metronome sound getting recorded on my other tracks.

One of the experts will be around soon, and this doesn't address your issue specifically, but its something to think about for future projects...

SONAR won't record the metronome click by default. Since LE doesn't include the Patch Point feature that would allow doing this inside SONAR, the only explanation would be that your interface is routing output back to input via some hardware path or a virtual path set up in the interface's software mixer app.
