Metronome Not Working in Some Projects

I have been doing a lot of work lately and have about 50 active SONAR projects.  Some of the projects, the METRONOME doesn't work.  I have routed it for both record and playback through its own BUSS and its output is to the master buss.  The METRONOME plays on some songs and is silent on others?  I am stumped by this one.  Anyone know any ideas on what could be causing this?

Thanks,
Jim

There is an old metronome bug with symptoms similar to what you describe. Click global FX on/off or off/on (depending on your setting) and the metronome click is back.

Sonar Platinum, EWHO/D, Spitfire, Miroslav, Pianoteq, ....,  Kurzweil.

Try toggling the global FX button in the control bar

I've lived this issue by using a 1/4 cowbell loop whenever internal metronome does not work. It's a little annoying but workaround is easy.

Thanks for the FX toggle tip!

Yes, good idea panup...if ever the fx toggle stops working I'll use it.

Only seems to be an issue when I change a metronome setting within the same project...

For the record: This issue has been fully resolved for the next update of CbB.
There was a loophole that could allow the metronome to get into a bypassed state. One of our testers found a deterministic recipe for it and I was able to fix it.
Another reason to upgrade to the latest version of CbB which is getting frequent fixes and updates :)
