Metronome in Console ?

Simple question.   For some reason I can not view the metronome volume control in one of my new sessions as I can in others.

Can't find the answer anywhere.
Can you assist ? TY

Hi. Open the Track Manager (under the Console View's "Strips" menu I believe) and make sure the metronome bus is selected. Cheers.

It would be under the Bus section of the track manager. It may be collapsed so click the + sign beside the busses option and all the busses should appear in the list.

You also have to have the bus pane visible in the Console View and dragged in far enough to see the Metronome bus. Perhaps that's the issue. Click and drag the divider to the right to expose all the busses.

    Thanks Beepster...

Still a no go..   I have my sessions side by side (one with - one without metronome fader) and can see no differences in how they are configured.

There is no plus sign + that I can find next to the bus drop down. I thought about the console pane view, but I'm good to go there. I saw another post here that was similar and they thought it was related to the templates (checked on that and all is the same)

It would seem to be an easy 'insert metronome pane' command but I'll be darned if I can find it... And can't figure out why it's not there to begin with...

Could it be the project was created without a metronome bus or the bus got deleted?

In any case to add a metronome bus, create a new stereo bus, open the metronome preferences and set the output to the new bus.

That's probably it. The metronome is not sent to a bus by default. Just check your metronome settings and select audio metronome and route it to a new bus. Label and track icon as you see fit and have at it!

Yeah, I'm out of ideas. Try what scook said. I've never had my metronome bus disappear and wouldn't have known how to reinsert one without this thread. Cheers.

All things are possible scook... It may well have been deleted or never was created, but that did the trick. The key was assigning to the new bus. I inserted the new bus, just hadn't figure the assigning part.. THANK YOU!
