Metronome lost in Win10?

I bit the bullet in a desperate attempt to gain an update to my audio driver and Upgraded to Win10. Everything seems to be OK with a few control panel glitches, but I now don't have a metronome. I mean no sound, The bus is there, the preferences menu points to the metronome bus (I've tried others too) and the volume slider is up, the volume in preferences is up too. I've enabled record and playback with no sound from either. Anybody else have this problem? Recorded music has sound in the tracks I've tested as well.

In the metronome menu check if you're using midi or audio metronome. ..my guess is it has defaulted to audio
