Metronome

I was using Music Creator 5 LE.  Very easy to use.  A novice like me figured it out in about half an hour.  I read about MC7 and liked what I read and purchased it.  I am struggling with it now.  I figured out how to set the metronome for the number of beats before the recording starts but the beats go on during the recording.  How do I stop it?  I could do it with MC5 but I haven't been able to figure it out for MC7.  There are a few other items that I am trying to figure out.  Wished I had just kept MC5LE.  For a free software, it did what I wanted it to do.  I am sure it is easy but I haven't been able to figure it out.  Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Click off the metronome record button or uncheck recording in metronome preferences.

    Thank you again.  That worked.  I did the same thing on MC 5.  LOL!!!  Old age must be getting to me.  :)

    MC7 is slightly different so it takes a bit of time to figure out where all the old familiar things are now hiding. 
     
    They do that with every upgrade.... But no fear.... you'll figure it all out soon enough.
