Metronome still intermittent?

Hi,
I believe audio metronome reliability was an issue in X1a & X1b, but thought it was resolved with X1c.  I'm running X1C expanded with quick fixes and still experience audio metronome instability.  The main symptom is the metronome doesn't respond to the play and record buttons at the top - e.g. sometimes when the metronome is set to play during playback, no metronome is audible, however after restarting Sonar (without changing anything), the metronome works as intended. 
 
Very strange.
 
Is anybody else still experiencing similar issues?

    Mine is pretty out of time and I can't set all the beats to be the same volume (well, it says they are in settings but my ears and the meter tell me otherwise). Audio metronome.

      Metronome issues are supposed to be fixed in X1D (counting down). In the meantime, you might try toggling the FX bypass all or PDC bypass all. If the FX bypass is on, the metronome won't work. (strange cause usually bypassing the FX for tracking when Met is needed most) X1D.... wait and see!

    ^ I don't experience that (ability to turn of metronome with FX bypass or PDC)

    I don't think I've encountered that, however will try to isolate the issue to see if enabling / disabling of the FX bypass coincides with intermittent audio metronome behavior.
