Mic Preamp Choices for Lynx L22.. UAD or GR?

Hi,

Just got a Lynx L22 soundcard... very nice! I'm looking to team it up with a suitable single channel mic preamp. My microphone is a M-Audio Sputnik tube condenser so I'm going for a clean solid state model. Right now I can get a deal on a UAD Solo 110. However, the Great River ME-1NV (Neve clone) is well-regarded.

Any thoughts on this? Would the GR be worth the extra $300-400? $1000 is my price range.

    IMO, the Great River will give you more mileage in all directions, so yes spend the xtra $.
