Mic Recording Latency in X3c, Not In X2

Just recently upgraded to X3 from X2. Just attempted to record my first vocal since the upgrade and discovered there is a significant latency issue of about 1 second. I switched back to X2-no latency, using all the same hardware. Checked the settings in X2 and compared them to X3- Identical. Went out to the Focusrite site and found there was a driver and firmware upgrade. Installed it, rebooted. No change

I'm at a loss. Anybody got any thoughts on the matter?
Gracias,

    Don't know what any aspect of you setup is. Try changing the size of your buffers. Identical settings may not work. Also turn of 64bit double precision engine in preferences.
    Really end more info

    Try enabling PDC in the Mix section of the control bar. That worked for another user who was reporting a similar problem.

    Hallo, Craig,
    Just a quick question concerning PDC.

    When you say "Try enabling PDC in the Mix section of the control bar", do you mean overriding PDC on live inputs (so the button turns blue)?

    There has been so much confusion over this issue, that I just wanted to check my understanding of this feature.

    Thank you, as always, for your input here.

    Thanks, folks. 64 bit precision is already on.
    I tried the PDC button when I read the other post. Unfortunately, no change.
    The recording buffer is default at 256. I changed it to 512 and then 1024, but no help.
    The driver is setup in ASIO mode.

    You should try turning the 64 bit precision engine OFF. See how that goes, that's what I suggested in my first post.

    When you say mic recording. Are you using an external sound card or your computers onboard sound.

    I've tried it with and without the 64 bit engine, no change.
    My "sound card" is the Focusrite Scarlet 18i20. It defaults to a 4ms latency. I've also adjusted that to as low as 1ms-no change.

    ASIO Reported Latencies (includes buffers and hardware latencies)
    Input = 8.9msec     394 samples
    Output = 12.9msec     571 samples
    Round Trip = 21.9msec    965 samples

    We had a problem, Houston... I was running everything thru Ozone5 in a pre-master bus. While this worked fine in X2, it was the latency culprit in X3. Why? I don't know. Let's see. How do I mark this thread [SOLVED] Although I would like to understand why X3 didn't like it......
    Thanks for all the suggestions!
