Midi Beat Sequencer with Motif XS7 Sounds

I have X2 Producer and I have made beats using Session DRummer3 with the beat sequencer but I don't like the sounds.  Is there a way to setup X2 so that I can use the beat sequencer to use the sounds out of my Motif?  I can see on the sequencer which has key board notes so those notes could match the sound I want. Let me know thanks in advance

So I figured out that I can take a midi track with the Motif as the Input and Output and then record the audio so that part is solved.  My new questions is the sounds of my patches now sound a tad bit different is that because I am using the keyboard as the midi input and output at the same time?

The standard answer is to check your Local On setting in the keyboard workstation (you want Local = Off).

I figured out my issue on my keyboard midi channels I was using the same channel for receiving and transmission. I changed the receive channel to omni and the transmission channel to 2, previously both were on channel one. In X2 I changed the midi input to Yamaha and output to Yamaha channel 1 and now my patches sound normal again.  I hope this helps someone else I was really struggling with this one
