Midi Connections

I have two bits of equipment to connect to the Edirol midi box for my PC.

I have a Korg Triton and a Line6 amp.
I only need the Triton connected so I synch it with the time clock in Sonar (so I don't think?? I need to use it's Midi Out).
The Line6 amp I connect using In and Out via midi so I can edit the patches.

The Korg has Midi In, Out, and Thru;
The Line6 only Midi In and Out.

Do I go
Out of Edirol > In Lin6
Out Line6 > In Korg
Out Korg > In Edirol

or
Out of Edirol > In Lin6
Out Line6 > Thru Korg
Out Korg > In Edirol

or
Out of Edirol > In Korg
Out Korg > In Line6
Out Line6 > In Edirol

or
Out of Edirol > In Korg
Thru Korg > In Line6
Out Line6 > In Edirol

or some other way????

I'm not familiar with your Edirol Midi box but I assume it's a midi merger+interface? USB to computer? Time clock master capable? Your workstation keyboard has the ability to handle the amp but if you want edit patches from the computer you should probably go direct to the computer or a midi merger with seperate channels.
