Midi Devices/Sound card

After a month or so mental health leave, I'm finally up and about to try and get back to my music. So, I just imported a file from Band in a Box. They are midi tracks. When I go to set up the tracks (output, patch, etc.), it is not recognizing my sound card as an output....only the Axiom and PreSonus Midi Out. This has happened before, but I can't remember how "I" fixed it.

Can someone refresh my old short memory!

Thanks.

Annette

Oops Never mind.....I don't recommend taking a month's vacation. You forget too much as well as your rational thinking. What I forgot to do was insert the soft synth...it wasn't the sound card/speakers that I was looking for.

    Sorry.
