1.Show the note name like this :

2.I want to automatically quantize all the note's end point. Not for the length only.

Love it!!!!!

Please bring this into 7.2 or the the next update and a "Midi Learn" feature would be nice on the transport controls so I can easily use my Axiom 61's play stop and rec buttons so please bring that in as well.

I'm not understanding why this is being asked for. When you click on the midi note, it gives you all the information already...doesn't it? And isn't the grid just like a piano too...with the dark/light grids? ...not to mention the keyboard is right there on the left side too

I want the "capture last take as recording" feature from Logic, it is like magic and works on MIDI tracks. Example, you play along with your song but not in record mode just play along with a cool softsynth zipping your wine and suddenly you came up with the HOOK of the Year and and you hit the stop button and try to remember how you did it and when you rewind your song and hit the record button the hook is suddenly gone with the wind. You can´t play it in the same way again. But, in logic you just assign the "capture last take as reording" command to a key and like magic the melody has been recorded even though your sequencer was just in playmode when you hit your key command.

ASUS P5K,Intel CPU Q6600 (quad 2.4 Ghz ), 4GB ram,Sonar PE 7.0.2, Windows XP pro SP2, 2 UAD1 cards,PCIe Firewirecard,MOTU 896HD,MOTU 8pre,Emagic AMT8,BenchmarkADC1,PoCo Firewire

I know the "capture last take" thing (caching) would be more convenient, but while nodling, can't you just noodle in record enabled mode...even have multiple takes, etc?

edit: Removed part that referred to a different thread

Firechild,

I like to see the "capture.." feature in Sonar.

As a matter of fact I used it a lot on the Atari/Creator program back in ca: 1986-1989.

The important thing is that you could play the tune with no intention to record, but suddenly in the middle off the tune you get an idea, and just hitting some notes on the masterkeybord, press stop, and and save it!

Great for spontanity!

I'd like to see my key strokes on the piano roll, like in Dropzone.
