I had a Nocturn using AutoMap 3.  It was great.  But like Billy I found the double plugins situation to be tedious.  Plus...mine kept forgetting my presets and I'd have to reprogram each plug I was working on on a not infrequent basis.  But when it was workin...it worked a treat!

Brandon Ryan [Cakewalk]

And let's back off Seth here. He has literally no obligation whatsoever to be here talking to people on Friday night or Saturday at all. He does it because he wants to.

Show me another company with reps answering question on a Friday night - or in many cases at all.

He asked if you'd used ACT. It's a valid question and frankly what you should be using to control plugins.

!

Brandon,

As you know I have been very critical of Cakewalk lately but I have to take a moment to give you your props.  You are absolutely correct.  I know of no other company that takes such an active part in its forums.  I know of no other company that has such an open dialog with its customers to the extent that they are on the forum on a weekend night let alone during the week.  I have even seen your chief technical officer on this forum more than once.  I have been involved with music technology for 20 years that is absolutely unheard of and extraordinary.  This shows that there is something very special about the you and Cakewalk company indeed.

Thanks Dean. Very kind of you to say and I do appreciate you taking the time to do so.

Considering your disappointment with some aspects of X1 and/or Cakewalk's area of development, I realize that it takes a person of real integrity to point out the positives despite those other things. So thanks!
