MIDI files are just instructions that need to be sent to a SoftSynth track to generate the audio.  Try inserting a SoftSynth track and directing the output from the MIDI track to the SoftSynth track.

Thats means for for exg. that for a drum midi from guitar pro i have to put a softsytnhtrack fro drums like EZDRUMMER?????

Click Insert at the top and see which soft synths you have. TTS-1 has drums, so you won't necessarily have to buy another drum synth.

57Gregy - You got me thinking, I don't have guitarpro, but if he has a synth in guitarpro shouldn't he be able to load that in Sonar too?
Hopefully it'll show up when he inserts the soft synth track.

I think it should, j. Presumably all VSTs for all Cakewalk programs will be in a Shared VST folder, read by all.
