Midi clip content in track view

Is there any way to turn off the velocity/midi data lines in track view midi clips?

For my midi drum track (recorded from roland v-drums/td-20), it is showing what looks like the velocity lines along with the midi notes in the clip contents in the track view window. I'd like to just see the midi notes. I notice on my other non-drum midi tracks, they aren't showing these lines, which leads me to believe they are something else?

Anyone know?

Thanks

Track view MIDI menu "Show Velocity"
FWIW, there are two different track types in the post. The top one is a MIDI track, the bottom one is an instrument track. Input data is shown the same in both track types but since an instrument track is a hybrid of an audio track and MIDI track, it will show a waveform when the synth or track is frozen.

yeah, Track view MIDI menu > Show Velocity doesn't change it. :( this is why it leads me to believe it's showing something other than velocity.
