Midi connection question

I have a motu 828 mkii interface and a edirol pcr m30 keyboard, how do I connect both of them through the 828? What is the most efficient way?  neither has a thru midi connection.

If you have a spare USB port you can plug the Eiderol controller into a USB port. You can connect the Eiderol Out to either the Midi In/Out of the Motu interface or a Midi In/Out of the UM-2G. Since the Eiderol device is a controller you may not even need to use its Midi In.

You don't mention whether or not there are available Midi ports on the Motu device or the UM-2G.
