Midi controller

Hi folks

Can any of you recommend a budget 49 key midi controller that plays nicely with Sonar please? I realise at this price point things aren't gonna be brilliant but there's so much to choose from out there that it's a bit overwhelming! Don't really need anything too elaborate.

Thanks guys.

Dave

The keybed is the most important thing when it comes to a controller. My preference for a semi-weighted board is the Novation Impulse line.

The Nektar Panorama series is probably over your budget, but their LX49 is inexpensive (about $160 street) and plays very nicely with SONAR.

A very nice looking controller. It even has a user guides for a bunch of DAW's, including Sonar. Should my A-Pro die this will be on my list for sure.

Great suggestions. My challenge is with drum programming, some accents are difficult, and laborious  to program so im wondering how these, especially the Nektar, play with AD2
