Midi delay when recording in loop mode

I thought this was fixed a while ago but when I record midi while I am in loop mode, all my notes are almost 1/16th off too far.
Is there any trick I can do to resolve this and record happily in all modes?
I have Platinum Jamaica...

Erik.

I'm not aware this was ever a problem, and I'm not seeing a problem in JP now. Is this with software or hardware synths? If the latter, are you direct or input monitoring, and do you by any chance have a non-zero Timing Offset set in Sync and Caching?

I've seen occasional reports of SONAR laying down MIDI consistently early or late on some systems, but it's pretty unusual.

My timing says "Full Chase Lock" with 0 offset. The issue is that the latency only happens in loop mode, otherwise it rather fine. A bug was fixed on Platinum in one of the first releases for this issue but it is still happening.

Dunno. I searched release notes for Record, Loop and MIDI, and am not seeing anything that seems relevant.  Do you have a different MIDI interface you can try - maybe switch from keyboard's USB too MIDI DIN on your audio interface?

Does the delay get progressively worse, or is it always present and constant offset?

The delay is constant in loop mode. I will search for a midi cable and will try plugging my editor directly to my audio interface and see if it makes a difference. Good idea.
