Midi pitch wheel smoothing: Cal? Midi plugin?

I'm working with some pitch wheel performance data
that doesn't have enough resolution to produce a smooth sounding result. Is there a Cal script or midi plugin that will interpolate and smooth pitch data? I'm trying to preserve the performance (and the performance is complex) so I'm not looking to redraw the curves.

Thanks!

It started as cc data, but since the first post I've converted to automation curve. This seems to make things sound smoother. Thanks for the response.

I'm not at my workstation but to the best of my memory ... Select the midi track and time-span to convert. Click the Clips tab and click on "Convert from cc to automation"
