well, I just fixed it, but I'm not sure how--basically I just erased all the xtra midi tracks. Gosh, maybe one of them the input echo was on. I've also had a problem with the inputs shifting when I open the project--of course maybe I need to always make sure the keyboard is on before opening Sonar. Just talking out loud here, but what happens is I will have Omnisphere, SD2, RA, Stormdrum, EWQlSO all open and somethimes the midi inputs, outputs switch from Play instrument or Omnisphere to something else (and of course they don't sound. ) Again, a first in X1 after using Cakewalk since version 3.
