Midi recorded in take lanes.

I'm just wondering.

I have loop recorded several takes of a drum part.

When I open the PRV, all my takes are layered on top of each other. Unless I'm missing a trick there is no way to differentiate between the different takes.

As its all in one track there is no apparent way to select each take. If I click the header of the lanes in track view it brings that take to the fore, but as the takes are all the same colour in the main PRV I can't seem to really work with it.

If I use the inline PRV for each take, thats fine but it's too small to be functional.

Am I missing something here? Is there a something that will help me here? Or would I be better off using punch/loop recording to different tracks?
