Midi sound output when loading up Sonar X2...FIXED...or is it?

Good Evening,

When loading up X2, and during the splash screen for opening projects, a couple of midi notes are sent to my main keyboard. It also happens when I click on any track in any layout, just a single note. When clicking on the track layout 1 track after another, it plays the notes of different pitches. Very musical, and doesn't stop me from making music (or trying to), I would just like to switch it off so it doesn't frighten me every time I load up and have the volume up too much.

Any ideas?

Thanks

My VST file patch included my Cubase bits and it was good old Halion causing the problem

Loaded up tonight and back to the problem again. Have feeling maybe windows 8 and all this M-Audio stuff having Win 7 drivers...back to the drawing board

Slowly narrowing it down, changed midi routing playback from XP30 via midiman 8x8 to old fashioned built in MS GS wavetable synth to soundcard and problem gone. Sounds bad but something to look for now :-)
