Midi time stretching

I'm using Sonar Platinum, updated to 23.2.0.45. After watching the Cake TV episode on "Midi Enhancement", I've tried "Midi Time Stretching" using a .mid clip from the SONAR Midi Library with Addictive Drums 2 soft synth. I've tried -- I can't get this to work as shown in the video -- drag midi loop onto track, Groove Clip Looping off... Smart Tool... Ctrl + drag the edge, just edits the length of the clip, as normal. What's the secret?

OK... the video is just not correct:

    1. It's not <Ctrl+Drag>... it's <Ctrl+Shift+Drag>
    2. The icon doesn't stay the same... when you do <Ctrl+Shift+Drag>, it changes to a double ended arrow.
I hope this helps someone else... I couldn't find any other information about this.

The video is from 2015. The feature was changed in 2016. See "To stretch MIDI clip" section here http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=EditingMIDI.34.html

I found it in the documentation by searching the help index for stretch and clicking on the "stretching and shrinking" link.
