Midi track grayed out after copy & paste

Hey, everybody.  I'm working in SONAR Platinum and I've encountered a problem with a midi track.  I added Slate Drums as a soft synth and created a drum part in the piano view.  I copied what I had written over 4 measures and pasted it over the next four.  When I did this, it grayed out the entire midi track.  What I have so far is audible, but I am no longer able to copy and paste anything from it.  Can anyone shine a light on this for me?  Thanks.

I had this same issue last week. Turns out somehow the clips has been muted. (At the time, I didn't know clips could be muted separately from tracks.) Yes, I know you still hear what they're triggering, so they aren't really muted. I think it's a bug, but I didn't document my actions well enough to submit anything. I fixed mine by saving and reopening, but you can also mute/unmute clips with keyboard shortcut K.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I initially tried saving and reopening, but the problem was still there. Let's say the clip is muted, do you have any idea how to get it unmuted?

One way is click on it and type K.
