Midi - what all gets exported/imported

This may just be a Sibelius question, but it may relate to what midi does in general.  I recently imported midi trks from Sib., but Sonar set the tempo at 120 (which I didn't use in Sib) throughout and played no changes in volume - although the Sib. tracks were written with several tempo and dynamic changes.  Was this X1 ignoring/not recognizing these elements from Sib., or Sib. not exporting that kind of info?  When I exported (and imported), I didn't see any options to check additional boxes to send (receive) or not send certain info.  What should I expect midi to include?

Thanks.

If you want everything in the MIDI file to be represented in SONAR, you need to Open the file, rather than importing it. Import gets Notes and Controller, but ignores Tempo, on the assumption that you want the MIDI to take on the project tempo rather than the other way around. If you want the tempos, you can copy the MIDI with Tempos from the Opened MIDI file, and paste it into your existing project.

Right offhand, I think tempos are the only thing that SONAR doesn't import. Volume and all other controllers should import, I think, so maybe Sibelius didn't export them...?
