Midi-device Win7 64bit problem

I' am using Sonar X1d Studio, Win7 64bit use the Midi-device Midisport 2x2 (USB) for my keyboards.
When I start my computer the USB device is recognised in the system manager and Midisport 2x2 is
connected to USB (LED light is ON).

Now I start Sonar and it says that  Midisport 2x2 is missing. After 1 minute Sonar informs me that the system
found the Midi-device and I can use it by clicking OK.

Everything works fine, but how can I accelerate Win 7 to connect the Midi-device faster?
I don't think that Sonar has a problem.

Mike

I solved it by deinstalling all drivers of the Midi-device, restarted the PC and installed the drivers again.
    Now it works!

    Hi gcruz,

the success was short-lived. After some reboots the delay of the drivers happened again.
    FYI I did the following:

I installed the latest driver from M-Audio and followed the instructions:

M-Audio USB device not recognized by applications after connecting to different USB ports Text size [-] [+]  If you have an M-Audio USB device that is not recognized by any applications, but is recognized in the Windows Device Manager, and has been connected to different USB ports, follow the steps below to try and resolve this issue.
Start by disconnecting your M-audio USB device
Click the Start Button, select Programs > Accessories and right-click on Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator" to launch the Command Window.
Copy and paste the following commands, one line at a time into the command window. You will need to right click in the command window to paste these commands.
    set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1
Press Enter and then copy and paste the line below:
    start devmgmt.msc
Press Enter and the Device Manager will open.
Click Show hidden devices on the View menu in Device Manager.
Right-click and choose to uninstall each instance of your M-Audio device, and if prompted to uninstall the drivers, choose yes. After all instances have been removed, restart the computer, reconnect the device and it should re-install automatically.
Try configuring your software to use your M-Audio device

Since I use a SSD Disk for my OS, the time for booting Win 7 is finished in 15 seconds. Nice, but maybe too fast.
It takes 1-2min before applications (Sonar or stand-alone-synths) recognize the Midi device.

I will continue to search for a solution...

Does the Midisport 2X2 have proper tried & tested drivers for Win7 64 yet?  I know they show drivers available on their site, but are they solid?

I had one for years on an XP system. It worked flawlessly. Not one hiccup that I can ever recall. I've heard of issues from some people when using it on a Win 7 64 system.

Tak nakonec se mi to podařilo, ale mám ještě jeden dotaz, udělal jsem si zálohu starých emailů a teď bych je potřeboval obnovit do jakého souboru je mám nakopírovat?

The above post revives this thread, with language that is Check.  The translation is:

"So finally I succeeded , but I have one more question , I made a backup of your old emails and now I needed to restore what file I copied ?"

I have no idea why the above would have been added, in Check, and will lock the thread, since no mention whatsoever of the connection of the posted text and any prior post in the thread exists.

At the same time, there is no actual spam contained in the post, so I also just don't get it, unless it is some automated posting robot script attempt at practicing creating humanized content.
