Migrating Professional settings to Platinum

So, I bit at the most recent upgrade offer & got myself Platinum today.
 
Was a bit surprised to see it creates a parallel installation of Sonar. Since the core of the program is the same I figured it just upgraded the install. But, okay, whatever.
 
However, was very distressed to see when launching for the first time doesn't find Producer to grab its settings. It offered to import it's settings from X2 Studio, X3 et cetera.
 
That's a lot of customization I need to go through. Driver names, folder locations, colors, plugin menus, et al.
 
I know I can export a lot of that, & this blog post outlines a bunch of others http://blog.cakewalk.com/migrating-sonar/  but still. This seems a pretty big oversight on Cake's part.
 
No question I guess, since it seems there is already the answer, so just grumble grumble grumble
