This doesn't look or sound revolutionary. Bulky drum set with a multitude of cables ain't easy to set-up or carry around. Crash cymbals sound the same with every hit. A huge step up would be sound modeling, like Modart or AAS products and more compact pads with a lightweight frame, just like any other modern electronic drum sets, but capable of tracking every nuance, similar to Roli keyboards.

So what you're saying is that this is much more of a "forward to the past" instead of a "back to the future" product? Agreed!
