Mindful Tess

This is a song that I made some time ago. I had a chance to improve it recently and I like to think I succeeded as it has nice melodies imo. I also made some unusual chord choices. I changed the work title name a bit as I thought some people don't like mindfulness. Tell me what you think to improve it or is it fine as it is.
P.s. I used Reason as an rewire instrument. The strings is a patch from it.

Pretty tune Antti, you have the knack for these uplifting-sounding synth pieces. I like the choir-ish pad, that lifts the 'chorus' nicely. I might suggest a counter-melody when the 'verse' comes back around, but that's a minor thing.

Thank you James. I like your ideas but I am not so good with the counter melodies thing. Out of my skill set range iirc. Thanks again!

I also liked the choir - it added some depth.  I'm not sure it needs much else, but James' counter-melody suggestion could be as simple as a few lines panned out L or R in a sort of "call and response" thing.

I can hear steady improvement in your mixes over the last few months.   The drums tend to be a bit punchier now and overall things are clearer.

Thank you Steve. The choir I thought would bring some variation to the chorus and it did IMO. I can try the counter thing. You guys are too nice to not to criticize some of my chord choices! I made a bit bad job there. I need to fix them when I get back to that project. I got many projects to fix and all I want do is start new projects... Bad habit.

Nice happy tune.  I really like the ah's around 1:14.  The bass is very nice too.  Solid piece that makes me want to dance!

Thank you Jesse! Nice to hear you liked it. I gotta soon make some tunes ready or I don't have any goodish material to send here. I have made some electric piano and humming tunes but they need to BE finished on a daw.

Nice one! The melodies are very nice, maybe the pre-chorus melody can match the harmonies a little more. Good choice of sounds! Some Nick Kershaw style here with the catchy melodies, arps and experimental harmonies. Good work!

Thank you for the comment. I did some mistakes with chords and perhaps also with the prechorus melody. I hope I fix them when I get the next chance because the computer with that project is in another city and maybe next week end I will go there back.
