The song is certainly well written. Nice sounding a. guitars! The bass is nice and solid too. The vocals are also very nice and fit the song perfectly. If it was my song, I'd add some power chords in the chorus to fill it up and emphasize it more, but that's just my thing.

I like the song, there are some timing issues on that bass... You've come so far with your vocals, it's really amazing, you have something to be proud of with your progress there.

Nice song!  The lead and harmony vox sound great.  The production and
    mix sound good to me.

Nice acoustic guitar sound.  The bass seems to be a little rushed at points.

I want to thank everyone who listened and especially to those of you who commented.  We really appreciate it.

This was the first song where I added the UAudio tape emulation (Studer A800) plugin to most of the tracks.  It definitely helped with things like the drums, acoustic guitars, and vocals, but also works just as well applied to the other parts of the composition.

I also applied the Manley massive passive to the master bus to dial in a bit more of the sweet spots of the overall mix.

With small strategic cuts with track eq, I thought I got a pretty decent mix without a lot of additional effort.

    Again, thanks to everyone.

    Tom

Tom, I really like the song.  Vocals are great.  bass seemed strange sounding to me and guitar a little distant.  Now, I've listened to a couple of our projects this morning and they didn't sound right to me so, I'm having a bad sound morning.  The electric just came in and I love it.  Seems a bit of a heavier bass would help.  I understand it's probably done and it is the way iot is.  Thius is a wonderful tune, Tom!  CSN harmonies.  Great!  Are you singing?  Great vocal!!

I agree...great vocals and great over-all song.  The timing of the bass could be tightened up in a couple places.  I like the way the song develops with the synths, guitars, etc.  Oh, there's a piano in there too.  Cool!  :)

    Hi, Tom,

It's great to see you around again!

The song is excellent!  Nicely written, well performed and recorded, and the vocals are fantastic.  I agree that the bass could be "pocketed" just a little bit, but the song and mix really sound great.

Nice work, have a good one!

Hi Tom, nice song and nicely sung. If you listen to this on headphones there's an acoustic guitar in each ear ,but slightly out of time.Probably on purpose to widen it ,imho a bit to much. Lead guitar not quite in tune ? At least not with the bass on the last note.

    Greetings, Rik
