My 2 cents after listening to the demos - I like East West Symphonic Orchestra better than this (based on the demos). It certainly has a LOT more to offer than the original version (which was recently on sale for $49 US). The intro upgrade price is definitely a good value, but if I were paying full price I think I'd go with EWSO. But that's me. The software does seem to be much easier to work with than the original - it has keyswitches for articulations! That I like. If I only had the original library, it would be a good upgrade. The full price of Miroslav 2 is about the same as the full price for EWSO Gold and IMHO EWSO Gold has more to offer. And EWSO is on sale for 1/2 price... FWIW
My Sound CloudWebsiteYoutube ChannelThe way that I've always gone about making music, the rule of thumb, has just been to make what I love. Amy Lee Sonar Pro 64 (Newburyport), Akai Pro MPK 88, i7-4770K, ASUS Z87-PRO V, 32GB SDRAM 1866, SAMSUNG 840 EVO 500GB SSD, 2 - WD BLACK 2TB, Samsung USB 3.0 SSD, Win 10 Pro 64, Radeon R9 270 Video 2GB, Dell P2314T 23" Touchscreen, Gateway 23" monitor, Presonus USB Audio Interface, Surface Pro 2 w/ Xotopad as a control surface

I already have East West Gold as well...and for $10 more I can get Albion Legacy, which is 10 times the product... Why didn't they post "sound demo's"? Why take pre-orders "in the blind"? Oh yes, I forgot, it's "business" and, as we all know "business" is about "money"....

yorolpal I qualify for the 50 jampoints which would give me 180. So, what is it...30% or something that you can use jampoints for??
Yup the most you can use on $199 is 59 jam points.
I have always rounded it off higher (at say 60) and they always went through. Just sayin'
The CHEAPEST way to get this is through credits. Buy 200 credits for $159.99 minus 48 jampoints = $111.99. and you're all set...you get it for $112. Disadvantage is you can't resell it buying with credits through the CS...
I am still confused about how to purchase this with both credits and jampoints. I have 134 credits, plus 181 Jampoints. Exactly how do I get this for the best USD$$? Do I just purchase 75 gear credits, use 30% jampoints and that means $52.50 USD? Is that the most ecomomical way or is there another route? Thanks for helping me figure this out.

How do you actually achieve using jam points and gear credits in the Sample Tank Custom Shop? I seem to only be able to choose one or the other.

You can't use BOTH. You can only use one or the other. At checkout in the CS there is a spot for inputting Jampoints if you choose to "BUY" or you can choose "CREDITS". In the Store you can only use Jampoints.

So the most efficient thing to do is use JAMPOINTS to buy CREDITS and the price gets down to $112 as outlined in my post above... cecelius2

bitflipper Darn, if I'd only known this was pending I could have saved some money instead of buying ST3 just so I could continue using Miroslav.
Same here. This is first of ST3 products to really get me interested. That said between my Kirk Hunter stuff and EW composer cloud supplemented by Miroslave and the Kontakt factory library I am well covered. I will think long and hard before dropping the cash.

Oh, what the hey! I went ahead and blew all the jampoints I had and got the $199 upgrade for $139! The demos sounded really good for that price instrument. Purchase was so easy I hardly heard the sucking sound as IK sucked more money off of my credit card. LOL!

I'll have to pass on this. A year ago I'd have jumped on it, having been a longtime Miroslav user. But when ST2 stopped working (after moving to Win 8.1), I had to look around for a replacement. That ended up being Kirk Hunter Concert Strings, which turned out to be a good choice. It has its limitations, as they all do, but it sounds great for the lush backing tracks I like so much. Sorry, Miroslav, you came along too late.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

I know IK has their own way of doing these upgrades but it's kinda starting to piss me off. I bought IK Total bundle specifically to get Miro and used it for some time. back in 2013. 2 years ago. but that's not loyalty and offers no bonus or jam points. same thing happened with Amplitube 4 and SampleTank 3. So I think since IK is done with me that I am done with them. I'll figure some way to sell of my products and make $20, maybe just maybe I can get a good meal out of a resale. or may be not. damn pisses me off to invest $399 (yes no sale price back in 2013, paid full price), an get the finger. ugh. okay rant over, moving on.. sorry.

It should be automatic (but you do have to log on, like I see you have). Since that's not the case that's why a ticket would be in order. However, Miroslav Philharmonik CE is not the qualifier, did you purchase Miroslav Philharmonik (the full version) during the qualifying period?
