Mis-labelled Mains strip in Console View

In Console View, the mains output strip is labelled as "MASTER". I believe that this was not deliberate, as could not find anything in the documentation that refers to this as being a "master" anything. It's not a problem for me, but it could be confusing for newbies, who are often advised about having a master bus in every project and would automatically make the mistake of assuming that the mains output strip is the master bus.

    Took me a few minutes to figure out what the OP was talking about.  BTW, CakeAlexS, your link is busted in my case.
     
    Yeah, "MASTER" would be better as "Hardware Outs" or something like that.  It's not so confusing to me due to the 16 outputs showing that makes it plain that there is no single master.

    Yes, it's displayed as an image, but I couldn't find it referred to as "master" anywhere in the text. Searching through the PDF manual, all instances of the word "master" seem to mean something else other than this.

    Yes, that hardware output is labelled Master in Platinum.

    I'd call this a feature request. Hardware outs have been labeled Master since X1. Before that, there was no label at the top of the strip.

    I realise that with some particular issues it is not always obvious whether to submit a feature request or report it as a problem. However in this case I think that the mis-labelling was certainly somebody's error. Neither the fact that it is fairly trivial, nor that it has been overlooked for several versions, should affect its classification as a bug.
