Missing MIDI Devices

Looking for assistance...
My M-Audio 4x4 Anniversary Edition MIDI Interface shows up as "This device is working properly." in Device Manager.
Yet it won't show up in MIDI Devices in Sonar Platinum.
I had disconnected the Interface for temporary use on another computer and have probably re-connected into a different USB plug. What can I do to have it show up in Preferences? Try each USB input?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Maybe this is an example of the Windows MIDI port limitation problem see http://www.harmonycentral...dows-midi-port-problem

Thanks Scook, but I had tried that previously and found no grayed-out speaker icons...
In fact, I can see the INPUT LEDs light up when I play any one of the two MIDI-connected keyboards.
Funny though, one INPUT shows up correctly in the MIDI Devices preferences page, but no corresponding OUTPUT!?
Also, the MIDI device icon in the task bar lights up, but only for that one INPUT.
And I've tried moving from one port to another, but no success there.
I am wondering if there is a compatibility problem between M-Audio MIDI interfaces and Sonar...
    Thanks anyway!

I don't have one to test. I see this is not the first time posting about this http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/293132. There are quite a few threads about the device, the solution may be in there, IDK https://www.google.com/?g...Edition+MIDI+Interface
