Missing SoftSynth Files...?

So I just tried doing Tutorial 4 (Playing and recording software instruments), and it calls for you to open up DropZone, which I did fine. But then it tells you to open up the synth "Acid Quinda" from the "Basses" folder. I tried to do so, but discovered that the only file under that name was a .prog file, and opening that garnered no results.

Upon further inspection, I found that the entire "Basses" folder, along with every other folder except "Grooves" and "Multisamples", contained nothing but .prog files...

I tried reinstalling just DropZone from the installation disc just now, but no difference.

Anyone else encounter this issue? What's the deal??

Thanks.

Yeah. I am having trouble loading DropZone as well. I have used the Plug-In Manager to scan my VST plug In folder that I set up and when I add DropZone to the effects bin in an audio track and try to open it I get the message that it's missing or not correctly installed. I have reinstalled but no different.

    Anyone have any ideas???

Given that I'm number 3, AND

    almost 4 months later, AND

since I encountered this problem only 4 days ago AND

that the kind helpful gentleman at Cakewalk Tech Support pointed me to the solution,

I would suggest that when a member gets the answer to their posted question that they report it in the thread post haste.

The Sonar Home Studio 7.0.1 update patch at http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/kb/reader.aspx/20081208
    worked perfectly for me.

    Respectfully.
