Missing Synth and Plug-ins in X1: best way to restore?

I did a clean install of X1 on to a new PC from discs (have added updates to X1C).  No previous versions of Sonar were on that PC.  One problem I had was that the Pentagon I synth didn't load properly and won't open - though Pentagon files appear in the Shared DXi folder.

Also, X1 doesn't appear to contain the Lexicon Pantheon reverb or the Delay effect in the Cakewalk FX (latter seems to have been replaced by Tempo Delay, which is not the same).

What is the best way to restore these 3 items?   I have the discs for 8.5 so I could do a custom install but am not sure how that works or if it is the best way.

Would be grateful for any advice.  Cheers.

Did you install sonar 64 bit or 32 bit? It could be that the dxi you are trying to run are 32 bit and you installed the 64 bit sonar. If that turn out to be the case the 32 bit dxi will not work. If you need them install the 32 bit version of sonar.

Thanks - advice much appreciated but I wanted to avoid going down that route.   I installed the 64-bit but from other threads on here it seems is a bit of folder-juggling and other factors involved with installing 32 bit, which for this problem is not worth the effort.   I think the Pantheon and the Cakewalk delay are not in X1 so presumably this wouldn't solve that anyway.    Someone elsewhere that running X1 'as admin' solved the Pentagon problem but it hasn't worked for me.  Thanks anyway.
