Missing automation data

Ok

I put some filter sweep automation in a track going to Nexus 2.   I know it's there because I can here the filter sweep.

BUT...

I can't see the automation anymore.  And when I go to the clip edit filter it doesn't show up.  Any thoughts?

    I tried creating a new envelope to modify it, but it doesn't seem to effect the automation going on.

    This is so sad.

    I'm REALLY trying to give X1 a fair shake.
