Missing plugins!!!

I bought the Samson Studio GT Pro and it came with a version of Cakewalk LE. Everything was going awesome in the recording process we finished our song with Chorus on guitar, Parametric EQ on ALL Vocals and Reverb on some others. We finished the song and saved it WITH the plug-ins on the tracks. I opened the project 20 mins later and it said that my plug-ins were missing. I'm completely lost when it comes to this stuff... So could someone PLEASE help me out! My band wants to finish recording but with this plug in problem its not going too well.

Thanks
Steve

Check the vst folders list and make sure the folders where your vst's are located are listed, it might have been deleted for some reason.

I run on Win 7 and so my vsts are installed in this path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Vstplugins. IIRC just take out the (x86) for older versions of windows. Just add that folder to the list and scan the vst plugins again or just restart sonar and it will load your vsts.

    Hope this helps

In the unlikely case that the VSTs really are in some strange place (they have not vanished anyway) why not use the Windows search function?? When you find them, you can move them to the appropriate place. Remember to tell SONAR where you move them :o)

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

I've tried both suggestions...and also tried re installing just the plugins. I have no idea whats wrong with it.... It still says i have no VST plug ins.

Steve, you do not have any VST plug-ins with Sonar LE.
    The included plug-ins are DX.
What OS are you running? It is my understanding that DX is not supported under W7, but I am open to correction.
All of the Cakewalk plug-ins reside in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Plugins on my XP system. This is the default location chosen by Cakewalk.
If you right click the FX bin of an audio track, can you see the plug-ins?

The plugins that you used, were they ones that came with the sonar installation or is it one that you seperately installed?
Just to check, look at the vst folder using the directories I posted above and make sure you still have the vst there in the folder.

As RobertB noted in post # 9, there are no included VSTs with SLE. If they worked the first time, that was the glitch. The glitch isn't that they don't work now, since they're not supposed to work, thus it's working correctly.
I know it can be frustrating not to have something work that you used before.

    Right, tons of them.
Which ones did you use first that aren't there now?

I used parametric Eq chorus and a few other but I've already found replacements for free lol but i do have a new question. Of course at the beginning of every song you have a 4 count to make sure everything is gonna be on time... well we recorded everything and now theres a 5 sec gap of silence b4 music starts....is there a way to snap all the tracks to the front but keep them in time with eachother????

    Cool, about the free effects.
Select each of the tracks you're using in the song while holding down the computer keyboard's Ctrl key. The tracks will change color indicating that they are selected. Scroll through the song to the end to make sure some lonely clip in track 14 measure 133 isn't left behind.
Drag the leftmost clip to the beginning. All the tracks should also move.
