Missing track Icons

I want to use the instrument track icons in Sonar X3 studio, however although the Views/Icons/ Track icons boxes are all ticked, when I right mouse the "midi socket" icon on any track I do not get the Instrument Icon list show up as shown in the help file.
 
Any one know why and/or how to correct it??

    Solved it!
     
    In track view - with Icons selected - you need to hold down the "Alt" key and left mouse on the midi Icon to bring up the instrument Icon list.
