Mix/Export problem

I'm trying to create a demo file. 5 tracks with a plugin on 2 of the tracks. I have the levels set on each track and have bounced each track to print the plugin effects and levels. When I play the mp3 the levels are not the way they sound in the project. Each track seems to be  at their recorded values instead of my mix levels.

Banging my head on the wall has not helped. Any ideas?

Regards, John

It could be several things John - routing, levels, export settings, mp3 conversion.

List everything out, should be fairly simple with only 5 tracks

Everything is being output and the effects are there. The problem is that the levels of the mixed output file don't match what I hear in Sonar. I tried to output in Wave and MP3 with the same results. I'm not using any effects busses, each track is routed to the master. There are 4 guitar tracks and one vocal track. The vocal has Nectar 2 as a plug and 1 guitar track has Sonitus reverb. When I export I have all 5 tracks selected. I think I'm following the manual correctly and use "entire mix" in the export selection box.

Hi. Have you tried the "What you hear" preset in the Export menu?
    All the best.
